Castlecrag Residence: A Major Transformation Of 20th Century House Into A Modern Residence

It is always a challenging task to transform an old 20th Century house into a completely modern living. At least, it is what CplusC Architectural Workshop has done in the project, which is named as the Castlecrag Residence. The modern house, which is located in Sydney, is set to be a dwelling with plenty of natural light and easy air circulation. The kitchen is one of the focal points of the house, which is enhanced with western red cedar doors behind a brick wall. It creates a visually large effect from its double volume outdoor living space. The yard is a great place for family gathering or events where friends can come and have a nice barbecue party. The house has a vast garden and a swimming pool where inhabitants can have relaxation. Private bedroom is located on the first floor, while the social space is located on the ground floor. Wood is extensively used in the exterior and interior of this house. Have something to say about this house? Share your opinion.
